January 10th
I am apart of an amazing womens photography group here called Santa Cruz Click Chicks. I have met so many amazing women that I am lucky enough to call friends. This photo was taken at a church where a wedding that I went to with another photographer ( AmandaLockPhotography) was held and it just called out to me.
In the group we are doing a photo 52 challenge...1 photo a week for a year. Each week will have a new theme! The first weeks theme was newness/hope. This photo to me, represents my love of God even if I dont necessarily understand organized religion. I have my own relationship with the Lord and it suits me just fine. This year is my 30th year on this planet and it is a year when I feel like I'm finally realizing what life is all about.
January 8th
I went with 2 of the most awesome photographers to shoot a wedding in San Jose...It was so beautiful and the family was amazing. It felt so good to be there although most of the time I stood around not really knowing what to do haha, it was awesome to be able to watch Barney (BarneyChanPhotography) and Amanda (AmandaLockPhotography) do their thing. A new year is upon us...
So its officially 2011...the 3rd year...oh yes you heard that correctly, the 3rd year that I will again try to complete my 365 project. This is the year of finishes I just know it :) Wish me luck!!!
